The inevitable collaboration talks started and they hit up their pals and fellow Gatineau brewers and legendary haze producers - Brasserie du Bas-Canada. After some discussion, the choice became ironically clear, to make some haze at Godspeed – for the first time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this project they sourced Quebec grown El Dorado hops from Houblon Lupuline, who hold the exclusive rights to grow this variety in Canada and finished it off with the ever-popular Citra hops. They then utilized a special blend of lager and ale yeasts, courtesy of Fermentis. These strains are capable of transforming compounds in the hops by unlocking bound thiols and then enhancing them through biotransformation during active fermentation.
