For the third iteration of their famous Bananarang, they took inspiration from the banana split. As always, they take a German Hefeweizen as a base, to which they've added a large quantity of bananas to increase the natural aromas and flavors of the banana from the German yeast. They then added homemade vanilla extract and lactose to recreate the creaminess of ice cream. Finally the icing on the cake is a little touch of cherry puree to complete the mixture of flavors. The result is a very unique beer that will take you back to your youth. Try it as an ice cream float for the full experience!
