This double dark ale is their attempt to brew from scratch a beer that rides the line between barleywine and imperial stout. This version was aged for 19 months in a blend of Willett rye, and 15 year 1792 Calumet Farms bourbon barrels. Finished on toasted coconut. Brewed in honor of one of the most innovative, pioneering, and influential blade smiths in our modern era, Steve Schwarzer.
