The next hop combination for their experimental series is Zappa and Citra. This is the first time they’ve used the relatively new hop Zappa in DIPA form. This beer started off with flaked oats and white wheat before a whirlpool and dry hop of both Citra and Zappa. dHop30 pours hazy yellow with an aromas of Valencia orange, passion fruit, and grape big league chew. Flavors follow with pops of assorted citrus, complex grape notes, and a touch of dank pine in a luscious body and a nice finish with a balanced pointed bitterness.
