Ever wondered why their 24-2 Brown ale is called 24-2, or why it has a horse on the can? Well, it's named after 24-2 draft horses, the crew of Percherons that pull the plows and harrows and planters and harvesters... they don't use modern farm equipment for this beer, no tractors or combines necessary. The barley grown is sent to Clive for cleaning, and to their friends at Red Shed Malting to be transformed into an old English style that doesn't see much use anymore. New technologies allow them to make it the way they did in the old days. A real labour of love, and a love of labour.
