Brewed with lager yeast as is the norm for this style, Pomp & Circumstance is dark, smooth and rich. It has a complex, toasty malt sweetness with notes of caramel, toffee and dried fruit, with hints of chocolate, dark berries and molasses.
This right royal style – one Catherine the Great is said to have enjoyed – is perfect for slow sipping while grandly surveying your own glorious postage stamp-sized empire of one.
